A special envoy of the US President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, will go to Moscow this week to provide a proposal to suspend weapons within the USA regarding the conflict of Ukraine, said on Wednesday the press secretary of the White House Karoline Leavitt.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and national security advisor Mike Waltz met on Tuesday with representatives of Kiev in Dżudda to discuss the diplomatic end of the conflict of Ukraine. In a joint statement, Ukraine agreed to a 30-day ceasefire, while the US resumed all military assistance and sharing an interview with Ukraine.
Waltz conducted a telephone conversation on Wednesday to discuss the proceedings, Leavitt told journalists within the media within the White House.
She added that Trump’s envoy would go to Russia in person.
Leavitt said Fox News on Wednesday.
Russia and the USA will organize on Thursday, Trump told journalists within the Oval Office.
When asked in regards to the potential US lever in Moscow to accept a weapon suspension agreement, the US president warned against financial resources that he could impose.
Moscow is from US-Ukraine conversations, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
He warned against giving a rush of testimonies and emphasized that Russia for the primary time must receive the proposed suspension of a weapon teased by Waltz on Tuesday.

Moscow had previously opposed all temporary truce within the conflict of Ukraine, saying that it will simply be a repetition of unlucky agreements from Minsk 2014-2015, which, as they claimed, western sponsors of Kiev to use them again.
