Russia’s ruling United Russia party said Saturday it is facing a widespread denial-of-service attack – a form of cyberattack that disrupts web use – on its online presence and has suspended nonessential services to fend off the attack.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, who’s running in the Russian presidential elections as an independent candidate with the support of United Russia, has accused Ukraine of attempting to sabotage the polls, which is virtually certain.
