Hi Martin, I got the K&F 1/4 & 1/8 filters last year, but not had a chance to try them yet. I got them for my Great Granddaughter's when taking photo's but I also thought they may work with defusing bright light in Landscapes…..P.S. Love the images……
Lovely editing pal. Just subbed
Great video Martin, some lovely images there 👍 🙌
Feel your pain in not being out with the camera! Hopefully be out this weekend.
I've enjoyed using my black mist filter in the woodland, definitely helps with the post processing for me. Want to give it a go in the city at night at some point. Really like the final edit, did you use an Orton effect (or variation of)?
Some cracking shots there Martin, particularly liked the one at 4:30. Brilliant video 👍
Yes, I received the Black Mist Diffusion filter from K&F. It's subtle, as you said, but it gives nice results by softening the highlights. Great photos, Martin! Well done for taking the initiative to use the vape.
Glad to see you back 👍Those shots in the pines are brilliant. Loved them all. I wish you'd stop reviewing gear though… now I've another thing to buy 😆😆
Cracking shots once again mate. That scene at 12:56 does it for me.
I did think about a portable fog machine. Not vaping though. 🤣
Thanks Martin and nice to see you back. 😁👍
interesting video Martin, the filter really adds atmosphere to the images, great images here mate, Like the way you have warmed the images slightly, I was thinking of purchasing a black mist filter, you have certainly made up my mind Martin, looks like taking up vaping mate.
The image at is an absolute corker Martin. I can see why you like that Back Mist filter, it really gives an option at other times in the woodland for sure. Nice watch. atb AL ps: where was my Cannock Chase invite? 🤣
Hi Martin, some lovely woodland images, and yes the black mist filter certainly helps the highlights bloom , looks great on woodland scenes. I believe it works great in city environments at night with the city lights getting the same blooming effect. I have the freewell variable nd with mist for my pocket 3 and really like the look that gives you. Granted i have only made one video with it, but cant see why it wont just live on the pocket three in future. Will certainly be wanting to try this on still images looks great !
Really enjoyed watching you test out that Black Mist filter in the woodland – the before and after comparisons in Lightroom really showed the subtle effect it adds. All the shots you got this morning looked gorgeous, that lit-up tree amongst the pines is my favorite. Thanks for taking us along on your photo walk and sharing the testing process of a new gear item. Always love seeing what you capture in your local woods.
Pictures are amazing. I am 6'3 350lbs and I was wondering about your backpack.thanks
I have to admit, the black mist filter gave the images a better effect than I had imagined. I'm not sure I'd ever purchase one but you did got some really lovely images with it. Great video and photos mate. Have a great rest of the week!
Looks like a great effect👍🙂
Great filter that mate really adds a soft touch to the scene. You guys always get amazing conditions down there iv never seen you come away without amazing light of mist ha ha
Lovely images Martin. The portable fog machine worked wonders. 🤣
Great video mate and some absolutely stunning images. Might have to try that filter as I’m a big fan of the softer look also. Although all the videos I’ve seen are using it for video lol. Works out well for photography I see! QQ where did you get that haunting music from? Think I need to use it for my drone crop circle videos lol 😉
It's a filter I've been considering. Really nice images captured.
Some cracking shots there, Martin.
Good to see you back out Martin. Some cracking images there. The kind of light you love to see in the woodland
Great video, love the filter
