With the Coyote Pass repayment looming, the Brown family faces an unresolved conflict over the division of their estate. Meanwhile, Meri embarks on a solo trip to England, Savannah’s graduation party highlights Kody’s strained family relationships, and the drama surrounding their former life resurfaces during Kody’s trip to Vegas along with his brothers.
Meri and Kody’s emotional goodbye
The episode starts at Meri Brown Bed & Breakfast in Parowan, Utah, where she and Kody Brown share a tearful hug after he moves her there permanently. Codes he thanks Meri for allowing him to end their relationship peacefully after years of turmoil.
“This moment with Meri do I go from anger to a moment of sadness?” Codes he explains in a confessional. “And I just try to be safe in it and sit in it and own it and heal.”
Merinevertheless, he questions his decision because Codes he’s leaving.
“I’m very confused,” she admits. “Part of me was like, ‘Oh, what have I done? Maybe I did something wrong.”
Kody’s the tears also impress his former brother-in-law Nathan Dilts, who accompanies him through the move.
“When we get in my car and drive away, [Nathan] he just touches me and says, “Friend, you recognize not to talk me down, but are you sure?” Codes recalls.
Despite the emotional goodbye, Codes he stays steadfast in his decision to end their marriage. “I understand it Meri and I can not get married. And I do not query our experience since it’s an excellent memory. It’s just over.”
Meri he ponders his conflicting emotions, admitting his doubts but ultimately standing by his decision. “If you have made it clear that you just never want to marry me, and also you’re sitting here crying about ‘the top of an era’ and ‘we had something special,’ then what’s it? – he wonders aloud.
Savannah’s graduation party without Kody
Janelle he hosts a graduation party for his daughter Savannah at Christine’s home in Utah. Kody is notably absent because Janelle decides not to invite him Robyn.
“Codes is alienated from 90 to 95 percent of his children.” Janelle explains. “He’s not really wanted at parties. He will not come, no matter who he takes with him or not.”
Codes he blames his alienation on his family’s dislike of Robyn.
“I would love to be a part of Savannah’s life, but it’s like they’re in cahoots that they seem to hate Robyn and I don’t know why other than, well, they’re jealous.” Codes says.
Janellenevertheless, he sees all the things otherwise. “Codes he has the concept that if he leaves Robyn at home, he might be welcomed at family gatherings. This may be very removed from the reality.”
Meri’s lonely journey to England
Wanting to regain independence, Meri goes on a journey to England, documenting visits to iconic places resembling Big Ben, King’s Cross Station and Buckingham Palace.
“This is truly a defining moment.” Meri shared a video. “I mean, the world is my oyster!”
The highlight of her trip is a visit to Stonehenge, where she is clearly moved.
“I literally can’t believe I’m here.” Meri he says, wiping away tears. “It’s something I’ve wanted to do probably most of my life.”
Her fascination with Stonehenge goes back many years. “I remember staying up late one night watching this Stonehenge documentary and it fascinated me even more.”
Coyote pass disputes
Back in Flagstaff, the family still disagrees with the division of the Coyote Pass estate. Codes proposed changes to the unique plot divisions, which include two plots for him and Robynone for Janelleand one common Janelle AND Meri.
Meri insists on the assessment, saying, “I’m not married Codes no more. I’m not part of it Codes AND Robyn unit. I have to take care of myself.”
Janelle accuses Codes opposing the assessment because he knows he’ll profit from the arrangement.
“I consider in it Codes “He is reluctant to judge because he knows he is pretending to be a bandit.” Janelle says.
Codesnevertheless, he seems bored with resolving the property dispute. “I don’t want to pay more money. I don’t want to make judgments. I don’t want to talk to lawyers about this. I’m not interested in doing anything.”
The group stands still and there aren’t any solutions in sight.
Kody’s Vegas nostalgia
Trying to escape the family drama, Codes goes to Las Vegas along with his brothers. During the visit, he recalls the time they spent in a cul-de-sac where each wife had separate homes.
“Calling our four-home-on-one-cul-de-sac setup during our Las Vegas episode the ‘best time of my life’” Codes says. “Everything ran smoothly. Maddie and Caleb were around and it was great to have them around. And I loved Caleb. He was definitely like family.”
Codes laments how all the things fell apart after the family moved to Flagstaff, citing coronavirus tensions and the breakdown of his marriages as contributing aspects.
Selective memory and marital frustration
During the meeting with Codes AND Robyn about Coyote Pass, Meri vents his frustration Kody’s a transparent lack of interest in her life, especially her journey to Stonehenge.
“Didn’t you know I was obsessed with Stonehenge and how important it was to me?” Meri he asks.
Codes he dismisses her complaints, blaming his forgetfulness on being a person.
“There are some things that I will just remember, and there are some things that just won’t matter to me, even if they matter to you,” he says.
Janelle AND Christina echo Meri feelings, claiming Codes he only pays attention to what he personally finds interesting.
