  1. Only 6 movies made the cut. Which was strange to me.
I remember back in the days the Oscars had so many categories and types of awards. Now its so blah and predictable.

Nyad should of gotten one, that was an awesome biography
And Jodie foster hands down is a powerhouse actress. I cant remember a movie with her in it, I didnt like. Even if the movie itself sucked.
Jamie Lee Curtis, class to the max. Gotta love everything Jamie lee curtis is in. Another powerhouse actress. I would love to see the both of them in the same movie together. But their acting is so good, that it shows the professionalism and dedication in every movie they're in.
Chevalier, should of gotten one. I dont think people gave it the respect it deserved.
Both these movies I just mentioned were way better than Barbie. Because in all honesty Barbie was not what it was all hyped up to be.
That killer moon, whatever, whatever. I thought it was a depiction of what should be taught in "American" history classes in school. I didnt like what the meaning behind it all was. But, thats what a good movie is suppose to give you. The impression of what history really was like. I liked it but it bothered me at the sametime.
American Fiction, I get it but its whole putting on a act to sell a book. Takes the meaning and truth out of why you are writing a book in the first place.
I liked the original Oppenheimer, no need for a new one. I didnt understand why ppl were so set on these particular movies.
I had yet to see a bad Mission Impossible. To be honest and my boyfriend hates me for it. I think Mission Impossible is better than Bourne Identity, John Wick,…etc. and I even was wondering what about horror films? I mean theres none really in the last 15yrs or so . But I thought "talk to me" had a interesting concept. The ending sucked though

  2. Greta was nominated for screenplay and Margot was nominated for best picture. Two of the biggest awards. Plus MANY other awards, including best original song. Let’s not pretend like it got snubbed. He presented it like a joke, but never gave the punchline.
