6:04 here he wanted to calcaulate how much time does it take to rotate the gear one tooth only it is inaccurate to calacalute only one teeth so he measure the number of rotations per time then convert it to number of teeth per time
for example 50 rotations per 10 second, it will be 2000 teeth per 10 second ( if they gear has 40 teeth) which the time to rotate the gear only one theeth is 10/2000 second and it is the time the light takes to go to the mirror and back and hit the next teeth
and then caculate the speed= distance/ time
by equations rotations/ time teeths/time flip time/ one tooth= time for the light to back and forth and hit the next tooth then 2distance/time

Meanwhile me : couldn't make Maggie without using the internet ( YouTube) Google ruining our capabilities of thinking & creating things/ solve problems by our own

ted´s intro is sooooo bad mannnn, the content is amazing.
whoever is reading this I think I just solved the problem of 3D collision systems and rays, his solution is brilliant
I find few things more enjoyable than listening to nerds being nerds. This was awesome.
That was indeed a thought provoking speech!
Great talk, thank you Adam Savage!
“We are all bags are meat and water. We all start with the small tools.” “They changed the world and so can you”
the quality of ted-ed videos 10 years back are the same as of now
Genius
Very nice speech.
I really enjoyed the nice stories in science and seeing the beautiful cartoons that made the ideas so clear.
Wow so genius! I got some smart lessons from here which match with myn'e 😇

If you was my science teacher then now I may be not a humanities student. 🙁
Hmm what is the contribution of discovering that light has speed?
Oohh
how can I submit my idea of time travel idea, I know how to travel in time, please response
As a wise man once said do your own reasarch
for some reason the made my day…
Youtube recommendations algoritm
The day this was posted = no

He speaks horrible fast !
…
these people figured out: how big the earth is. What gravity is, and what inertia is…
While I can't even figure out 1+1 🤓👏👍🏻
pov: you're watching this for an English class

A great speech!
In the letter it has word lol
Watch my video

Why science makes human endeavor? In your own answer
Hi, my science teacher wanted us to watch this for work 🙂
Literally facansting.. could keep listening to such scientific innovations for hours if not months
It was a great speech isn't it
6:06 Want more info.
Sources? Fizeau's Paper? What was the cog's radius? What altitude was the light beam?
Atmospheric conditions?…etc.
Well technically he did not know tge distance in miles. He knew it in terms of camel footsteps.
only here for homework
IT STARTS WITH A WONDER
Awsome
Flat earthers will die after watching this.
