The big-box store joined other major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy and Target in dropping Black Friday deals well upfront of the particular holiday. She launched the primary round of doorbusters on November 11.

Mashable’s team of deal-finding pros know learn how to tell the difference between good discounts and duds (after nearly a decade of covering Black Friday sales), and we’re keeping a running list of Walmart’s best holiday deals on popular tech and gifts this season. This includes TVs, laptops, headphones, gaming equipment, vacuum cleaners, beauty technology and Lego bricks.

Apple’s best deal

Why we prefer it:

Apple’s current entry-level smartwatch, released in 2022, offers activity tracking, high/low heart rate alerts, crash detection, and decent battery life – it lasted just over 27 hours on a single charge in our tests. (Mashable Tech editor Kim Gedeon recommends it for “fitness-minded” users). Walmart is undercutting everyone else on the worth of the smaller 40mm device without cellular connectivity, except Amazon, which comes with a $100 discount. Last time we checked, it was $169 at Best Buy and $169.99 at Target. The available color options are midnight, silver and starlight.

The best TV offer

Why we prefer it:

Walmart is legendary for its great Black Friday TV deals, and this 12 months the mega-retailer went shopping. This is solely the most affordable deal on 55-inch TVs we have seen on Black Friday, and the competition is actually stiff. Best Buy’s most cost-effective competitor costs $219.99, while Amazon’s cheaper option costs $339.99 – though each of those models have nicer and brighter QLED displays.

Walmart also has the 55-inch QLED Roku TV on sale for $288 (normally $348). The cheaper QLED model on offer at Best Buy is Google TV, so which one you ultimately add to your cart will rely upon your smart TV platform preferences.

The best gaming offer

Why we prefer it:

This stunning sequel was certainly one of Mashable’s favorite games of 2023, and it’s never been this low-cost before. (It actually sold out once at this price earlier this week; it was back in stock on the time of writing). Keep in mind that Walmart’s offer applies to each physical and digital copies, so you may go for something to wrap or something to wrap to begin playing immediately.

The best offer on headphones/earphones

Why we prefer it:

Full disclosure: our initial response to this offer was: “ “ Twenty-nine bucks is a surprisingly and stupidly low price for a solid pair of comfortable, budget headphones with good noise cancellation and long battery life. (JLab rated them at 70 hours; we’re currently testing them and feel that is true.) Elsewhere, the JBuds Lux ANC are $46.99 on Amazon and $49.99 on the JLab website, so I do not know how Walmart copes with one advised this.
