I, Brian Wang, have made some good comments over the previous few months about Tesla’s stock price movement. Tesla retreated after reaching a high of $488. This got here after greater than doubling from $213 at the top of October 2024. Tesla disillusioned with delivery of 495,000 cars in the fourth quarter of 2024, when 506,000 cars were expected. Energy deliveries of around 8-9 GWh in megapacks were expected, but Tesla topped that with 11.2 GWh. Better energy efficiency will mean higher profit than lower profit of cars.
I consider that automatic margins will likely be over 20% when earnings are reported.
However, crucial a part of Tesla’s stock performance is its rapid improvement with FSD (full autonomous driving), each through AI driving capabilities and, once regulatory approvals in China and Europe are obtained, Robotxi is licensed unattended and FSD is licensed by other automotive corporations.
