Lutron today announced the launch of a brand new one Caseta’s smart shades which might be capable of integrate with HomeKit and other smart home platforms. Priced at $399, Caséta blinds might be controlled via schedules, wall controls, distant controls, the Lutron app, the Home app or Siri voice commands.

These are the primary smart shades available under the Caséta brand and are cheaper than Lutron’s previous smart shades. Lutron says Caséta shades are designed to maneuver silently and in near perfect unison, and their performance has been tested for over 10 years.

Caséta Smart Shades might be used with Caséta lighting and smart switches to regulate natural light alongside that of lamps and ceiling fixtures. The shades can be found in roll or honeycomb form and might be purchased in white or gray.

All shades as much as 48 inches wide and 80 inches tall are priced at $399, with larger custom sizes as much as 96 inches wide and 104 inches long available for an extra fee. You also can add a blackout feature for an extra $30.

The Caseta’s smart shades shipping will begin in February 2025.
