Former college football mogul Urban Meyer believes this potential move couldn’t come at a greater time.
In an interview with Colin Cowherd on “The Herd,” Meyer shared his thoughts on why Belichick would achieve college football despite the sport’s evolution since Meyer’s heyday.

During his coaching profession, Meyer ceaselessly visited the Patriots facility, where he saw firsthand what he considers essentially the most impressive locker room culture in football.
Stars like Tom Brady, Mike Vrabel, Willie McGinest and Rodney Harrison weren’t just players, they were guardians of team culture, solving problems before they got here to Belichick’s attention.
“He had the greatest locker room I had ever seen,” Meyer recalled. “…..I had some problems in Florida, problems within the locker room. And I said, “How the hell do you guys do that?” And these players told me, “Our job is to make sure nothing ever ends up on Bill Belichick’s desk.” That’s how strong his locker room was.
