This yr, Every Active also introduced a reformed Pilates concept / Everyone Active
Every Active has partnered with wellbeing consultant Oli Patrick to launch its recent You+ membership category.
Targeting the 85 percent of people that don’t currently use a gym, You+ membership is a wellness offering designed to affect and support people’s overall lives across six pillars: movement, nutrition, sleep, recovery, social well-being and brain health .
All members will undergo a consultation where their ‘every thing energetic age’ can be calculated based on their lifestyle habits and can then receive a 12-week program tailored to their needs.
Duncan Jefford, Regional Director of Every Active, says: “This project has been launched in response to all the misinformation currently being spread in the wellbeing space. We wanted to provide our members with information based on scientific research and expert advice from a leading physiologist.
“You+ membership gives our members the guidance to fully understand how simple changes result in life-changing results.
“The increase in demand for daily wellbeing support was highlighted by the positive use of our Wellness Membership, which began in late 2023, where we received over 25,000 registrations and 25% of new fitness product sales within this membership.
“That’s why we’ve taken an even bigger step toward 360-degree wellness support, and we believe You+ can help those who have been neglected by the traditional fitness industry.”
The program lasted 12 months, and its design, extensive research and improvement of staff qualifications meant that from December 30, each of the 240 Every Active branches within the UK will give you the chance to supply membership.
The cost of You+ will vary, ranging from £24.99 or as an add-on to the usual £10 membership.
PatrickI talked to HCM earlier this yr on how fitness professionals should develop into wellness professionals and take ownership of this space: “You+ seeks to be a beacon for members in the choices they make in six key lifestyle areas: exercise, nutrition, sleep, recovery, brain health and social well-being.
“Most of these areas have never received formal training and individuals have been left to work out key lifestyle choices on their own, without support, guidance or guidance. You+ offers a new way to discuss well-being with clients in a format based on kindness and empathy, but underpinned by solid clinical knowledge.”
You+ appears within the January issue of the magazine HCM. Sign up for the free digital edition.
Every Active has also partnered with The Well HQ to launch a bespoke product A course for all energetic women and exercisers. This training explores the important thing life stages that ladies undergo and the way they impact their relationship with sport and exercise.
Steph Heath, national fitness and training product manager at Every Active, says: “We are committed to providing a supportive environment for all and understand the importance of empowering women. This course will enable our colleagues to provide industry-leading support and practical methods to ensure women continue to feel supported in our facilities.”
Baz Moffat, CEO of The Well HQ, said: “Too many women still see the gym as someone else’s space. This deprives them of the opportunity to establish and maintain good habits and take care of their body and mind. We hope our partnership with Every Active will help break down these walls and inspire more women to get active, safe in the knowledge that a trained instructor is ready and equipped with the right knowledge to support them at all levels and stages of life.”
