As the “International Exhibition and Innovation Forum for Sustainable Chemical Production”, the main target will likely be on progressive technologies for a climate-neutral future, including process technology, pharmaceutical technology and digitalization (primarily using artificial intelligence and robotics), in addition to the rapid development hydrogen economy and hydrogen-based processes within the Chinese chemical industry.
AchemAsia was established in 1989 as a spin-off of ACHEMA to fulfill the needs of the then growing industry in China. Today, with over 400 exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions, it’s the central meeting place where the newest technologies and innovations relevant to the method industries in China, Asia and world wide are discussed and exchanged. AchemAsia offers experts from Asia and world wide the chance to debate and collaboratively develop ideas and solutions for a sustainable industry. The exhibition will likely be accompanied by a congress organized jointly by DECHEMA and regional and international partners in the shape of accompanying events. The congress is closely aligned with ACHEMA’s innovation themes: Process, Pharma, Digital, Lab, Green and Hydrogen, while specializing in the expansion and challenges facing the Chinese process industry. This guarantees a high level of relevance to audiences who’re already lively in or inquisitive about the Chinese manufacturing industry.
The International Expo and Innovation Forum for Sustainable Chemical Manufacturing is a global technology fair and innovation forum for the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries in China. More than 400 exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions give attention to exchanges between equipment suppliers and users, in addition to between scientists and engineers. Since its first edition, AchemAsia has provided a platform for market access, communication between customers, suppliers and potential collaboration partners, thus creating a foundation for innovation within the Chinese process industry and beyond.
We have been organizing AchemAsia in China for over 35 years, and ACHEMA in Frankfurt since 1920. AchemAsia takes place every three years and is organized by DECHEMA and CIESC (Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China) in cooperation with many Chinese and international partners. The next AchemAsia will likely be held from October 14 to 16, 2025 in Shanghai, China.
