My LAST senior session of 2024… how did it occur?! Spoiler alert: Ava’s beach session was the BEST technique to end my yr. Ava’s lovely mother contacted me in a panic, realizing that the deadline for her yearbook photo was much sooner than she thought. They were hoping to squeeze in a session before the holidays… and were willing to go at the last minute to make it occur! By coincidence, I used to be already scheduled to be in Charleston… so I offered them my last available date of the yr. Not only did they arrive from North Carolina… but they did it on a 24 hour WHIRLWIND trip!!! They literally drove to Charleston the morning of Ava’s shoot with only a number of hours to spare… and left very first thing the next morning. What an honor to have clients so engaged and enthusiastic about their senior sessions!
The only downside? It was COLD. More specifically, it was one in all the first frosty days of the winter in Charleston. We’re talking about wind chills at the end of the shoot that felt like 35 degrees! But taking a look at the photos… you’d NEVER realize it. Ava was wearing a jacket with hand warmers between her clothes, and we still had the BEST time exploring Charleston, talking about dancing, Taylor Swift, and college plans. I’m SO excited for Ava and every little thing she has in store. She is really a gem and I’ll Crush it next yr!
Ava and Mrs. Frampton: Thank you a lot for trusting me to capture such special memories for you! I had a terrific time experiencing Charleston together and I wish you all the best for the remainder of your senior yr! You were a rock star despite the cold!
