“Hey guys, I just picked up my son’s Minion cake from HEB and it’s the ugliest f***ing thing I’ve ever seen,” she begins the video. “It’s not what I asked for and his party tomorrow. It’s totally fixable and I’m not that picky, so I just took it. But that is the ugliest fucking thing in the world.
The TikToker then describes what she was looking for, repeating what she told the worker taking the cake order. Showing photo A Minion cake from Pinterestthe mother says she wanted blocks of blue and yellow, but they didn’t should be as elaborately covered with ice as the one in her example.

“She even asked me, ‘Do you would like the transition from blue to yellow to be ombre?’ and I said, ‘No, plain blue, plain yellow,'” she says, adding that her son would quickly destroy the cake anyway.
“This is what I got. What the hell is this?” – says the TikToker, showing off a real head scratcher. Even though the cake is paying homage to Minions, it looks prefer it was made by Salvador Dalí from HE-B. Not only is the cake ombre, however it is decorated with an icing-covered ribbon.
“What the hell is this? Where are my swirls? Why is it green? What happened to the wheels on the goggles?” he asks, not to say the comic relief of eyes falling down the side of the cake, bringing to mind Dali’s melting clocks.
With nearly 13 million views at the time of publication, many individuals took to the comments section to crack jokes about the disfigured dessert.
“It was 10 times worse than I expected hahaha,” one user commented.
“Wait. Are you sure you ordered this from HEB and not Wish???” wrote one other.
“NOTHING COULD HAVE PREPARE ME,” one other person shouted.
“When you said ‘it’s totally fixable’ I wasn’t expecting THIS,” another person wrote.
“The way my jaw dropped because you said it could be fixed… how could it be fixed? 😳,” commented one other.
@babygirls0s0 didn’t reply to a request for comment via TODAY.com, but did post some updates on what she did to repair the cake.

“We really asked for an update to the cake. And here it is” @babygirls0s0 says in an update published on October 29. The TikToker describes some easy changes she, her fiancé, and her mother-in-law made to the cake to make it appear to be it was saying:banana” at any time. “That’s what we ended up doing. Look how pretty it was. And it took two seconds.
Adding a Minion-print topper to the cake, the TikToker took the provided ribbon and placed it around the cake, hiding the green ombre effect. She added much more charm to the cake with “Happy Birthday” toppers and a colourful birthday candle.
Mother too shared the full scope threw a Minion-themed birthday party for her infant and really went all out with door toppers, cupcakes, drink dispensers, and more to go along with the theme.

This cake debacle is not the first to cause hysteria on the Internet recently. In April A A person’s Costco birthday cake order has gone viral when the bakery took his instructions too literally, embellishing them with their very own pattern of demands. Then in May, TikToker Tefi Pessoa told a similar story about how Publix also took her mother’s cake instructions very literally, adding precise written instructions to them. That same month, a Texas baker he misread Elmo’s cake orderpondering he was saying “emo cake,” which resulted in a very atmospheric “Sesame Street” dessert that also went viral.
