34-year-old Carr experienced arms pain at the end of March during his first throwing sessions with a large volume since the brain shock and injury on the left in December last yr. The organization said that medical scans have revealed that he had a lip tear and significant degeneration of the rotator cuff.
“After regaining prayer and discussion with Heather, I decided to retire with the National Football League,” Carr said, referring to my wife. “We have been incredibly blessed for over 11 years and we are forever grateful and humiliated with this experience.”

His retirement decision took place after consultation together with his family, representatives, team doctors and external medical examiners. The surgery was considered, but recovery would probably take him aside throughout the 2025 season, without guaranteeing a full return to form.
Carr thanked the team members, coaches, team staff and fans for supporting all their careers. “Your unwavering support meant the world for us,” he said.
