Lafourche Parifa, La. (Word) – a catastrophe on the Lafourche parish highway consumed the lifetime of a Thibodaux man.
According to the State Police in Louisiana, at 21:00 on Wednesday, May 7, they responded to the place of the disaster from four vehicles with the participation of 36-year-old Isiah Thomas.
The investigation revealed that the Sheriff’s Office of the Lafourche parish tried to stop Thomas leading Kia Optima, who, in line with MPs, was wanted in reference to continuous investigation.
Thomas reportedly refused to stop and escaped, accelerating to the north with the Louisiana 308 highway, resulting in police pursuit.
The soldiers said that the deputies stopped chasing Thomas, but he still escaped and tried to pass the northern border of Nissan in the zone and not using a belt. Honda Accord also headed south along the road on the highway, when Thomas collided with them, causing that he leaned on the Nissan and Ford F-150 side.
Thomas, who was not wearing the seat belt at the moment, suffered fatal injuries and was recognized as deceased. Other drivers wore seat belts and suffered a slight injury.
The disaster stays examined because toxicological reports of all drivers are tested.
