BATON ROUGE – LWCC is proud to announce that it has been recognized by Celent as the winner of the Model Insurer Award for Heritage and Ecosystem Transformation. Celent is a world research and advisory company for the financial services industry.
Celent’s annual Model Insurer Awards recognize best practices in the use of technology in quite a lot of areas critical to insurance success. Nominations are submitted by insurers and undergo a rigorous evaluation process by Celent analysts.
Celent evaluates submissions based on three foremost criteria: demonstrable business advantages from energetic initiatives; degree of innovation in relation to the industry; and excellence of technology or implementation.
“The Model Insurer Awards recognize how insurers are using technology to change the face of insurance,” said Donald Light, director of Celent. “The LWCC business model depends on maintaining a flow of good quality submissions from agents and broker producers. In its three-part initiative, LWCC has chosen to focus on key aspects of insurance distribution and process management. The impact and metrics achieved are excellent.”
LWCC was recognized for its modernization efforts to this point, which included thoughtful use of technology to enhance communications and insights with agent partners; updating and expanding the functionality of your brokerage portal; and the creation of a brand new underwriting workshop to extend the speed and accuracy of underwriting decisions.

Wall, president and CEO of LWCC. “Our clear competitive advantage is that we are a forward-thinking mutual insurance partner, deeply rooted in understanding the customer and stakeholder journey. We are grateful to Celent for appreciating our work.”
