- Olive oil, sea salt and ground black pepper
Layered hummus dip
Say goodbye to plain old hummus! It’s a fun and festive strategy to serve your favorite dip and gather friends and family across the table. It’s filled with color, crunchy and filled with fresh flavors – just a number of delicious crackers or corn chips to serve.
Cooking time: 15, It serves: 6, as side
Ingredients:
- 500 g hummus
- 10 (100 g) cherry tomatoes, cut into quarters
- 1 (100 g) cucumber, cut into small cubes
- ⅛ (25 g) red onion, finely diced
- ¼ bunch of parsley, leaves and stems finely chopped
- ½ cup mixed olives, sliced
- ½ cup of pomegranate casings
- 2 teaspoons of lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
To serve:
- Crackers to pick from, we used pita chips
Method:
Spread the hummus on a serving plate.
Place chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, parsley and olives on top. Finally, sprinkle with pomegranate arils, lemon peel and extra virgin olive oil.
Serve with corn chips, crackers or your alternative.
Caprese salad
Looking for a fast, easy, fun recipe? This classic caprese salad will delight your guests and transport you to the shores of southern Italy. What’s more, it’s ready on the table in lower than 10 minutes. The secret is simplicity – use the very best quality ingredients you’ve gotten access to and let the flavors shine! Ripe and juicy tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and fragrant basil sing along with a bit of fantastic quality olive oil. Tip: Store tomatoes in a bowl on the kitchen counter to assist them ripen.
Cooking time: 10, Serves: 4-6 per side
Ingredients:
- 400 g (14.1 oz) buffalo mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 600 g (21 oz) trellis tomatoes, sliced
- ½ bunch of basil, picked leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- Sea salt and black pepper
Method:
Place sliced tomatoes and mozzarella slices on a platter, arranging them in a round shape.
Add picked basil leaves, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze.
Season with sea salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.
