This episode featured a brave and honest discussion between Mary Cosby and her son, Robert Cosby Jr.about his addiction problems. Since the airing, other Bravo stars haven’t only offered kind words and prayers to the family, but Mary has also provided an update via Andy Cohen.
There was a variety of discussion on the show about Robert and his sobriety. This was especially noticeable this season resulting from his appearances on the show. In the newest episode, Mary made the difficult decision to speak openly and truthfully with Robert in front of the cameras about his addiction and why he uses drugs.
During the episode, Robert admitted to taking Xanax to “relax” him after which Adderall to get him high. He also revealed that he mixed Xanax with acid and cocaine and took 10 pills at a time.
Since the episode aired, many individuals have wondered about Robert’s current condition RHOSLC it was filmed a couple of months ago. Now Mary has released an official statement on the matter. During Wednesday night’s episode Watch live what’s happeningAndy said, “I talked to Mary tonight and he or she wanted me to let you know all that Robert Jr. “He’s doing well.”
Mary and Robert also received support from other Bravolebrties. Bravo Queens the Instagram site collected a series of social media posts and put them right into a collage. Porsha Williams was probably the most vocal supporters, saying: “Oh my God, a mother’s worst nightmare. I pray very much for Mary!! I’m really glad he’s doing better.”
Teresa Giudice left a comment saying: “I am praying for my son. Sending him lots of love.” She also posted a praying hand, a heart and a crying emoji within the comment.
Drew Sidora also took to social media to share how essential this episode was and prayed for the family as Robert continues his path to sobriety.
