Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries Ltd, said Jamnagar, the world’s largest refinery, provides a platform for the long-term growth of Reliance, its employees and future generations. Ambani was addressing staff in Jamnagar in the course of the twenty fifth anniversary celebrations of the flagship refinery.
“Jamnagar is not only the best oil refinery in the world, but also has the largest gigafactory in the world, the largest solar power and artificial intelligence infrastructure in the world. Apart from this, the digital factory will also be located in Jamnagar,” Mukesh Ambani said.
“It is creating a platform that will be a platform of growth for many decades to come for all of you, for your children,” he added.

Reliance is organising artificial intelligence infrastructure in Jamnagar, which is predicted to be accomplished in 24 months. Speaking at the identical event, Akash Ambani, CEO, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL), said, “The artificial intelligence infrastructure that we are starting to build in Jamnagar will not only make the city a leader in artificial intelligence technology but will place it among the world’s top-ranked cities. We have already started the construction of this facility in Jamnagar and plan to complete it in true Jamnagar style – quickly and efficiently, as always, within 24 months.”
Vantara Initiative
Mukesh Ambani also mentioned that Jamanagar will likely be utilized by Reliance Foundation for wildlife conservation under the Vantara initiative.
The Vantara Program, launched in February 2024, is an umbrella initiative to rescue, treat, care and rehabilitate injured, abused and endangered animals in India and abroad. The project covers nearly 3,000 acres in the Green Belt of Jamnagar Refinery in Gujarat.
The Reliance refinery in Jamnagar is the largest in the world. It has processed over 216 different grades of crude oil produced world wide. Reliance arrange the Jamnagar refinery on December 28, 1999. Last week, the conglomerate celebrated the twenty fifth anniversary of the Jamnagar refinery.
