Kenji Consultingboutique investment consultancy, has revealed plans for a latest series of events geared toward strengthening fintech cooperation between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Kingdom (UK). This initiative goals to construct bridges between these two significant financial centers, supporting investment opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Named Fintech Futures: UAE-UK Connectionthe series will debut in Dubai in May 2025 and will air alternately in the UAE and the UK in 2025 and 2026. The program will feature high-level networking sessions, startup showcases and targeted roundtables to connect investors with emerging ventures in the fintech industry.
“The UAE and the UK represent two of the most dynamic fintech ecosystems in the world, each with unique strengths and complementary opportunities,” said Zoe Bardet, manager at Kenja Consulting and the driving force behind the project. “Through this series, we are creating a structured platform for meaningful dialogue and investment opportunities between these markets.”
The launch event will coincide with the Dubai FinTech Summit in May 2025 and will attract the international audience that has already flocked to the region to this flagship conference. Further events will coincide with other leading industry gatherings reminiscent of the FTT Fintech Festival in London and Abu Dhabi Finance Week in November 2025.
Key features of the series include curated matchmaking sessions between investors and rigorously chosen fintech startups, expert-led panels discussing the prospects for cross-border investment, regulatory compliance workshops in each regions, and exclusive networking events for skilled investors and entrepreneurs.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi are fast becoming global fintech powerhouses, complementing London’s established dominance in the sector. This initiative is a response to the growing demand for cross-border fintech investments between the UAE and UK markets.
“We have seen increasing demand from our clients for opportunities to expand their fintech portfolios in these markets,” Bardet said. “This series will provide a structured approach to identifying and evaluating investment opportunities while building lasting relationships between the two ecosystems.”
The initiative will culminate in a flagship summit in Dubai in February 2026, showcasing successful partnerships and investments from the series.
