When it involves large airports, Riyad also topped the list, but Lima got here in third after Honolulu International Airport with a rating of 85.45%. (To qualify for the global category, an airport must hook up with three other regions, and Honolulu only connects to 2, so it was ineligible for global consideration, based on Cirium). Five other U.S. airports also made the list, including Salt Lake City in fifth place (83.80%), New York LaGuardia in seventh place (82.39%), last 12 months’s world winner Minneapolis-Saint Paul (82%). .27 percent) in eighth place, Washington Dulles (82.23 percent) in ninth place, and Detroit (82.06 percent) rounds out the top ten.

The top small airports were Guayaquil Jose Joaquin del Olmedo International Airport (91.38%) and Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport (90.05%), each in Ecuador. The top three were rounded out by Cape Town International Airport (89.39%).
