120 more location under the UDAN program, 4 CR people to attach in the next 10 years: Civil Aviation Minister Kingjarap Rammohan Niidu
The government plans so as to add 120 latest locations under the UDAN program over the next 10 years and goals to attach 4 Crore by him, the Minister of Civil Aviation Kingjarap Rammohan Naidu informed Rajs Sabh on Monday.
Answering the completion during the questions, the minister said that the Udan program (UND (*120*) Ka Aam Naagrik) is one among the most successful programs in the country and plenty of other countries praised him.
“The thought process behind the program was to combine all airports together. It has been observed that many airports, even after construction, was a vitality for airlines to start communication. At this point, the UDAN program is planned and financing of differences in vitality was given, “said the minister.
“We almost gave 1.5 Crore the benefits of the Ferrity because of the UDAN program,” also said the minister.
In the last budget speech, he said that the Minister of Finance Nirmala Sithaman has expanded the UDAN program to the next 10 years and we are expanding it resulting from the success of the program.
“Over the past 10 years, we’ve joined 1.5 Crore of people, and in the next 10 years we want to connect 4 CRERE more people and introduce 120 new places,” he said.
Noticing that we are talking about 120 latest locations connected to the Udan scheme, Naidu said how this Udan pattern works, we took insufficient and unwavering airports, which have lower than seven air connectivity during the week.
He said that the government is bidding on routes and the airlines go through a transparent auction process.
In the matter of complaints that Udan routes don’t last after a while, the minister said that the Udan routes are there for 3 years.
“It is not that we want to subsidize and give a lifetime in viability on all these routes forever. It is to help start this region, start this route and airport and start communication, “he said.
In terms of reducing the major airports, he said that bringing all unused airports with less activity once you achieve more connectivity with these deviation, after all.

On high aviation, the minister said that we follow the international principle in which the market drives the airports.
“We provide the best from service because we don’t want the airports to be high,” said Niid.
“If we have more aircraft in the country, we from the ministry try to provide more aircraft. We want more airlines to appear and promote the industry to ensure that price dynamics will be provided, “he said.
The minister also said that we’ve a unit of monitoring tariffs under DGCA and considers data from the previous 12 months, and if there’s any excessive growth, we’ve a gathering with airlines.
He said that even during the last Mah Kumbh the ministry had a gathering with the airline at any time when the airports were excessive.
